The lady spoke for the family, and informed me that they were taking a “vacation from God” – a “break from God” – she went on to tell me that this “break” would be approximately 6 months – no more – and they would be back. I said “why would you need a vacation from God?” She said “we just need some more time for ourselves- for our family – and to catch up on things. But don’t worry – even though you won’t see us in church for six months, when we come back we’ll be here faithfully.”
